Picking Strawberries: Documentary Photography
I love doing random seasonal activities with my little. Much like going to Britt’s Garden Acres’ Pumpkin Patch in the Fall or the Mayor’s Holiday Parade in December, picking strawberries with her ushers in the new season for us. Of course, being a lifestyle and documentary photographer, I bring my camera along to capture all the memories.
Last week, we went to A&H Farm, a local farm and garden store in Manhattan, Kansas. We got quite the harvest of strawberries! Since it was very early in the season, there were loads to pick and they were all beautifully red and ripe. Of course we made sure to “sample” a few of them in the process. That’s all part of the experience, right?
Have you ever thought about having an unconventional photography session? These are my absolute favorite, capturing something that seems like an “every day” activity in a beautiful way. If you’re even slightly interested, head over to Start Your Story and let me know! I’d love to create something beautiful to capture your memories.
Till next time…
