Kaci+Brian Ratzlaff: Wedding Day at Timmon's Chapel in Pittsburg, KS

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a million times: stories of true love created by Fate are my absolute favorite. When I met with Brian and Kaci to talk about the photography for their wedding day and their engagement photography session, I fell in love with their story.

I’ve told it previously on the blog post for their Engagement Session, but to recap, they met on a Mission Trip with their church; Kaci loved the way he interacted with the kids in the village they ministered to and Brian fell in love with Kaci’s heart for others. They stayed in touch after and their love grew from there.

Their intimate wedding was the cherry on top for their relationship. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they got married in Timmon’s Chapel on Pittsburg State University’s gorgeous campus in Pittsburg, Kansas. The chapel was so quaint and beautiful with gorgeous weeping willow trees and a gazebo on the grounds.

Their reception at the Crestwood Country Club in Pittsburg was another perfect place with a packed dance floor and understated greens on the golf course. During the reception, a storm rolled in from the north, bringing with it beautiful and wild clouds that created the perfect backdrop for a last image of the evening.

I love connecting with my clients and hearing their stories and Kaci and Brian’s was no exception. They are clients that became friends and I am so excited for their future together. Congratulations, Kaci and Brian!!

I hope you loved that little look at Kaci and Brian’s wedding! I was honored to have Marcea Corbin, Kansas City Wedding Photographer as my associate photographer on that day. It was definitely a beautiful day for everyone involved!

Till next time…
